Being an educator is a sacred calling. Education is truly the most amazing profession in the world and one of the most fulfilling and purposeful exploits to which a person can aspire. Along those same lines, for those who are not supposed to be teachers and do it simply because they can't do anything else, it is truly the most miserable. In today's context, public education is under attack, and educators are the targets of much of the abuse. You, as a school leaders, are on the front line - the super hero that advocates for your children like no other can or will. You as educators are real super heroes, and just like Superman or Batman or any of the other increasingly growing list of super heroes, have different super powers. All quality school leaders have a core group of super powers that will empower you to do your work effectively. Through this blog I want to help us identify what those super powers are and how to use them every day to care for kids and to help them get the best education possible.
